Some steam achievement may be Broken due to feature changes, such as achievement tagged [Affinity] and others, but for achievement problems with the [Event] tag it will no longer be able to be achieve it to Steam users because it is an achievement with an expired duration.

Try pressing alt+enter (window mode) and change the screen resolution in the game settings.

You can change the resolution by making adjustments in one file:
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\TheChase\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
Change the resolution in the line to something else:
ResolutionSizeX = 1280
ResolutionSizeY = 1024
