Thank God I watched a let’s play on this game before buying it. The absolutely terrible reveal of the game doesn’t come in until well after refund time, so I would have been stuck with this nonsense game. A man plays dress up and pretends to be a woman, meanwhile the only sane person in the game is vilified, made to look like the bad guy simply for wanting to help her mentally ill son. Hard pass....

I can't say how much I relate to both J.J. and Emily at a personal level. Their confusion with their sexual and gender identities, their struggle with family and society, and their love for each other are just making me cry internally with pain and joy at the same time. The game wasn't lying when it said it "was made with the belief that nobody is wrong for being who they are." in the demo i cant use the phone at all because it will just keep scrolling through all of the "apps" endlessly, and also the controls are messed up (and also the demo started in japanese lol)
