Controls are wrong

for some reason on my controller A is B, X is A and B is X. this happens in no other game and wasnt the case last time i played the game around a year ago so i dont know what happend. and yes i checked the controls in the options menu and everything is the way its supposed to be.

I seem to have a similar issue;
even more so, I have 2 issues, 1 concerning the game.
x doesn't even exist in the gamepad.

2nd issue, not belonging to this game, but maybe one can help:
I swiched wasd with my up down etc

Edit: x was only strange with my first chest.

I use a DS4. For this game, not only do I need to run DS4Windows, but I have to change the controller setting using Steam's Big Picture Mode - look for an option that says Enable Steam Input for Playstation controllers.
