Completed the main story of the game at about 14 hours. Probably could have done this quicker if I really focused on it. The game puts you into the role of a prison guard and does this fairly well, though the challenges that arise daily in your shift are probably things that do happen, but rarely in real life. It does give you the feeling of being a prison guard, so for the job simulator aspects it's ok.

You walk/run around the prison in first person view with all of the things to do being mini-games, but there's a lot of them so there's enough variety. The game also gives you the freedom to role play how you want - generally you can talk prisoners back into line and don't always have to go straight to the beat-down if you don't want to. You can be a straight and narrow rule follower or you can indulge in corruption if that's your thing.

With the main story being 10+ hours of gameplay, unless you're into achievement hunting the price tag is a little over my value target of one US dollar per hour of play time. I recommend if you can get this on sale, or if you're really into this kind of genre.

Saw a guy starting fire, smacked him around then threw him into the wrong cell where a dangerous prisoner sleeps and they had a fight, now I have to extend the dangerous prisonsers stay but atleast we don't have a pyro nutter around anymore!!
