Can you change hair color
I know there was an issue with them changing for it originally. Is it still possible to change color or did they remove it

That is actually crazy

What’s even worse is that I didn’t get an achievement for beating the story

It is crazy.
But even more crazy is that you paid for every color change (at least it was like this at release of the feature, don't own ps so i don't know if its still like this).
You read correct, you paid for every single change.
Let's say red → blond → red → blond
You pay 3 times. Doa devs are super SUPER CCCCRRRAAAZZZYYY :D

At pc you have mods to do this, though it's often not just a color change but a complete hairstyle change.

i think now you still have to pay to get them but not to change after you own all the colors,

hopefully techmo doesnt drop that ball on DOA 7 if they ever make it

with the way games are now though im not too sure

I would also love a DOA7, but they should stop experimenting with dlc and such stuff.
There are enough working ways they can choose from.
The core of both DOA5 and also DOA6 are awesome. it's just the (additional-)package that blocked their success.

For the full singleplayer DOA experience i strongly recommend mods (using redelbe) and cheatengine (e.g. for movesetswaps and free camera). Also DOA6++ is an interesting option i currently test myself.

I wish they would’ve kept the story as the arcade type of style. To me DOA6 story is so disconnected half the time they were just jumping like an hour ahead so you had no idea how the characters got to where they are

I liked the “story” in DOA4, if they made that better I would be very happy. And yeah the microtransactions suck, they are selling costumes from DOA2 like the kasumi school girl outfit

Hopefully with the “success” of ninja gaiden 2 black we will see tecmo making more consumer friendly games.

I don’t mind micros but 1k is a little insane

This is not a rational way of looking at things. What does someone like this do when they go to their favorite clothing outlet and realize that they can't afford every shirt in the store? Get bitterly resentful that they can't have the full Hot Topic experience, and then give up on wearing clothes entirely?

How about the rest of us, do we all have to be limited to only one default uniform just because some people don't want to pay for more? We all have to wear Mao Suits from now on? The obvious fairest solution here is to let the person who doesn't care about playing dress up buy the game cheap, and have the person who wants 20 alternate outfits pay extra for them. Neither side should have a tyranny over the other.

The mistake DoA made was foolishly putting all the costume DLC and various overlapping bundles on the Steam store page. If you instead put them in an in-game store like Street Fighter V did, the type of people who complain about this stuff will be too lazy to add up the numbers and won't realize that Street Fighter V was way more expensive than DoA6 ever was. And then you're also free of the expectation for big Steam sales. And you can also run that in-game currency scam where you have to buy quantities of coins that don't match up with the cost of the products. DoA got nothing but flack for doing this the honest way, and having the lowest costs per outfit compared to the other fighting games. All people looked at was the total of everything, which included lots of duplicates. And it still keeps happening all these years later.

In general i like dlc and have also nothing against micros but they need to be reasonable and structured. And that's where DOA 6 failed.
Also the pricing is obviously nonsense. A season pass for ~80€ with just ~2 chars and the rest is outfits.
They should make it simple:
Character season pass: 4 chars over 1 year for 20-25€, if you want to buy them sep. 7-8€
Cosmetics season pass: between 4-12 packs over the year for 10-30€
If you buy both season passes 30-40€.
If that's not enough for the devs they should really increase their efficiency & effectivnes at coding and modeling. Or most likely kick their marketing chief^^

We can blame Valve and CS for why all of these companies are following suit

they just cant find a way to do it as efficiently without getting called out
what? you can buy them separeate
