This is almost certainly the new Venus Vacation game, they have been hinting at it for a while.
The only threat of petty hope i could offer is that they spoke to a translator, the Venus Vacation games was exclusive to Japan and without tweaking region settings/using vpn, wasn't possible to play in the west, it's also implied VV2 will also be a JP exclusive. The games are mostly built for micro-transaction paradise too which further is little to be hyped for if you play it.
I sadly have little to no faith Team Ninja will be looking at a new DOA game any time soon, they make more from silly games like Venus Vacation because Japanese players don't mind throwing cash at them (and plenty of westerns too), why make a full DOA game when it costs money, takes time and players fizzle out within the first year when you can make a cheap game which generates cash for years, takes little effort to make and maintain but is a gold mine for their bank.
I wont go so far as to say DOA is dead as a main game, i think they will at some point try again but it will likely flop as TN fail to see players will give up on the franchise and see it as a mobile sell-out series so when a game does drop, it will likely do worse.
DOA does also suffer, as a game its (being honest) a "sexy fighter" game, it knows it has used fan service across the years with busty girls, skimpy costumes and breast movement which defy gravity to ensure optimal bouncy factor - or in short, it is a game which will likely struggle in a world being choked by the politically far left sony who don't like anything that includes sex/sexy (except if the series will make millions or more like GTA... or unless it is from their own studio's).
This particular aspect of DOA is what made me love the series, sadly, this very same reason is probably why the series didn't get super popular, sadly
