Glad you added the edit.

This is almost certainly the new Venus Vacation game, they have been hinting at it for a while.
The only threat of petty hope i could offer is that they spoke to a translator, the Venus Vacation games was exclusive to Japan and without tweaking region settings/using vpn, wasn't possible to play in the west, it's also implied VV2 will also be a JP exclusive. The games are mostly built for micro-transaction paradise too which further is little to be hyped for if you play it.

I sadly have little to no faith Team Ninja will be looking at a new DOA game any time soon, they make more from silly games like Venus Vacation because Japanese players don't mind throwing cash at them (and plenty of westerns too), why make a full DOA game when it costs money, takes time and players fizzle out within the first year when you can make a cheap game which generates cash for years, takes little effort to make and maintain but is a gold mine for their bank.

I wont go so far as to say DOA is dead as a main game, i think they will at some point try again but it will likely flop as TN fail to see players will give up on the franchise and see it as a mobile sell-out series so when a game does drop, it will likely do worse.
DOA does also suffer, as a game its (being honest) a "sexy fighter" game, it knows it has used fan service across the years with busty girls, skimpy costumes and breast movement which defy gravity to ensure optimal bouncy factor - or in short, it is a game which will likely struggle in a world being choked by the politically far left sony who don't like anything that includes sex/sexy (except if the series will make millions or more like GTA... or unless it is from their own studio's).
Still no lead director for new game?
Been playing DOA6 while waiting for Virtua Fighter Revo to come out and man. DOA has some solid game mechanics. It's a very fun game and the characters all have cool movesets. I wish I played this when the series was still at its peak. Hoping for DOA and Soul Calibur to make a return. Maybe if Virtua Fighter 6 does very well, Bandai Namco and TN will bring their 3d fighters back.

Yes. In my opinion the DOA series has the strongest foundation of any major fighting game given its integral rock-paper-scissors mechanics (strike, hold, throw), and the fact that you can hold an opponent's attack while getting hit. This strengthens the mind-games while moving away from "combos = power" and "oh, I got hit, now I'm dead".

This particular aspect of DOA is what made me love the series, sadly, this very same reason is probably why the series didn't get super popular, sadly
Can someone help me? I just installed the game but it wont load up - just a small window loading screen - I cant click or do anything with it. HOW DO I FIX? :)

If you want help, you'll need to provide more information than that. And also, you should start a new thread, because that has nothing to do with this one.

In your new thread, you should give more details, like:
What operating system you are using (Windows?).
Post a picture of the window.
Note whether the window stays open or crashes.
