Suggestions?

Well was looking forward to this game tomorrow-2nd may] then suddenly find its changed to May 2018....sad beyond belief

How do you open it? I haven't found a code and i don't eel like guessing's going to work.

How do I figure out which squares to make red in the spaceship grid puzzle? I see the diagram on the side, with 9 squares, but I'm still completely lost how to use that to help me solve the puzzle. I've also gotten the TV turned on in the factory, which also has 9 squares on it. I couldn't find any combination of the two 9-squares that made sense, so I wasn't sure if they were related. (Edit: I did watch the walkthrough video in the Guides section, but there was no narration so I don't know HOW they fig...
