Treasure Hunter Clair is yet another entry in Kagura’s long line of formulaic RPGs, and unfortunately, it does little to stand out. If you’ve played one of their games before, you’ve essentially played them all—this one just comes with a different skin. While there are a handful of Kagura titles that break away from their usual template, this isn’t one of them.

The gameplay is the same recycled experience, with nothing fresh or innovative to justify another playthrough. If you’re looking for this style of game, there are much better alternatives out there. Unless you’re completely new to Kagura’s catalog, I can’t recommend this one.
