30 fps?!
Fps drops when I enter in a big fight but this game isn't that heavy. I have a 4070 ryzen 7 5800x

Yeah I'm afraid thats just how the game is. I talked to one of the devs about it. The problem is all the animations and something else, the physics I think it might have been are all handled on just one cpu thread, so it scales very poorly on new hardware. I have 14700k and a 4090 and I can't even keep 60 fps when it comes to big mech on mech battles on large maps... Went from 11600k to 14700k and still it literally made no difference. Fps can still drop into the 40s and the settings do absolutely nothing to help.

In my case I can limit fps to 45 and that stays steady for the most part OR I can limit fps to 30 and use lossless scaling to double it to 60 with a latency penalty. Neither are perfect. But.... thats how it is.

Its a really good game, but this is definitely my biggest gripe with it. Still I hope you will learn to live with its shortcomings because the campaign is really great.

dont mic and match your cpu with your gpu.. Nvidia optimizes with intel, and AMD optimizes with AMD Ryzen for obvious reasons. People dont realize nvdia architecture and drivers are not going to play well with their main competitor, which is AMD.

The game is really cool, but I noticed this too. Sometimes I get an older game to run it at higher settings. This appears to be the game itself and for reference I am using Nvidia with Intel.
