Trying to get to the coop

Hello,
I have a question. I am wondering how to get to the part where I "Experience an epic overarching story, spanning more than 20 missions over three campaigns. Join nine charismatic heroes and their beastly companions in their adventures across Europe. Team-up with a friend and master all campaigns side-by-side in co-op." That last part is key. I started up the tutorial in the main campaign, but did not find a way to invite. So I assume I have to complete it. I just need to get into a mood to play as a little brat instead of a battalion of able bodied personnel with firepower...... instead of 'snow' power.

Anyway the question is, when can I invite another player?

in its current state I believe the only way for "Coop" is to use the multiplayer option and play against AI. challenges are still only singleplayer

Thank you for your response, however I was able to get the coop to work. Here is how, I clicked on my profile and started a group. Then invited my friend(either with the invite code or through steam). Then I went to the missions in the campaign tab and selected a mission to play with the group I formed. Hope this helps someone else!

thank you! I was wondering if i can do story mode campaign coop!
