Why? Two years of updates for a feature-complete, balanced game.
This is more than standard nowdays.

This is not a live service game. It's complete.

A full campaign with chapters for each faction, two DLC options which add fully functional armies with unique rosters, a well balenced skirmish and world conquest mode, and a unique and rich world inspired by one of the least explored of the worlds major conflicts: WW1.

Not that I can convince anyone otherwise, but this was well worth its money to me. Is it perfect? No. Is it impressive for a first iteration attempt at breaking into the niche (and frankly untouched) genre of RTS games? Absolutely. Just the fact it follows the old system of games as a product rather than a service already makes it worth its cost.

I am not sure about.
Is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pretty empty in all. In content, in factions, in gameplay styles and is unfinished like ♥♥♥♥.

imagine being a dev/fan of cash grab like game and say "we are still working on the game".

cringe.
