I only just started playing this today, but I'm halfway through the first campaign. So far, this has more story than your standard RTS. I'd say the density of the story is similar to Company of Heroes, or Age of Mythology. Pretty good story, so far.

I mean, heck, they even have a surprising amount of love put into it, where the first level is literally the Polish protagonist introduced as a kid, getting into a snowball fight.

the campaign story is pretty awesome, if your not into rts, put it in storyline mode and steamroll in your diesel punk mechs, you can always up the challenge
