PLEASE OPEN TO MODDING
Hey so this game is clunky, that is known, but if the Devs could open this game up to modders I feel like it would be a whole new life for this neglected masterpiece that could be. If any Dev sees this please just take this idea into consideration. I hate to see this game which could be an amazing steampunk mech RTS die due to neglect and being tossed in the trash as an overall failure. Dont give up on Iron Harvest! :steamthumbsup:

I believe they could have made this game much better in terms of acceptance if they had invested a little more in making the starting units better and the skills used more frequently (grenades should be a base skill). A beginner player judges a game by the first mechanics he can understand and when the game forces the player to keep a unit alive in combat for 10 minutes just to get a 120s Cooldown skill, it is terrible at making the player realize the cost- benefit from your effort. I even created my mod, got some heroic skills working easily for AI, even though they've been bugged for years and I'm having a lot of fun making units use skills like crazy lol
These are simple things to fix that could even save the game

Nearly every rts without good mod support always dies fairly quickly, and yet devs across the board keep foolishly refusing to implement it from the get go. Now that the game is in maintenance mode it's highly unlikely we'll ever see any good mod support and Iron Harvest will just keep dying until it's gone. It's really sad tbh

Now create the mod faction that involves remaining factions out of 9 in lorewise
