Other games I've had to return because I couldn't get them to work, (the new Jedi one and Romance of the 3 Kingdoms 14, for instance) so I understand the frustration.
The thing that finally fixed it for me was loading into the BIOS after restarting (couldn't remember what key it was for mine, so I was just spamming F2, F8, F10, and F12 while it was booting back up, lol) and I disabled the "XMP" Profile in there to have the RAM run at default settings or whatever that thing means.
XMP profile to Disabled in the BIOS fixed it for me, not sure where that setting would be in your BIOS but hopefully that works for you guys as well!
i never go without them since i got those crashes are 95% caused by redistributable missing
I don't know what about Unity busted so hardcore, but the XMP profile has me able to play it just fine. The XMP profile just isn't overclocking my RAM by default anymore which IDGAF about with 64GB of ram.
It's always the CPU being a bottleneck, anyways, lol.
