Everytime I start the game it crashes to desktop, my graphic card is updated and every single game works on my pc, just this one doesn't

I'm a computer imbecile, and it worked fine for me. Just bought, installed, and played.

Other games I've had to return because I couldn't get them to work, (the new Jedi one and Romance of the 3 Kingdoms 14, for instance) so I understand the frustration.

I've played this plenty before most recently trying to jump back in and play, and I was having the same crash-to-desktop every time I attempted to launch the game. Event Viewer lists the problem as coming from the "UnityPlayer.dll" file, but reinstalling Unity drivers and all the fixes I could find online were useless.

The thing that finally fixed it for me was loading into the BIOS after restarting (couldn't remember what key it was for mine, so I was just spamming F2, F8, F10, and F12 while it was booting back up, lol) and I disabled the "XMP" Profile in there to have the RAM run at default settings or whatever that thing means.

XMP profile to Disabled in the BIOS fixed it for me, not sure where that setting would be in your BIOS but hopefully that works for you guys as well!

tried having all the redistributable´s? there are around 20 to get windows working right :Niko2:
i never go without them since i got those crashes are 95% caused by redistributable missing :BloodySkull:

It wasn't redistributables, as I'd literally played that exact same install and the exact same OS install with unchanged hardware and the like.

I don't know what about Unity busted so hardcore, but the XMP profile has me able to play it just fine. The XMP profile just isn't overclocking my RAM by default anymore which IDGAF about with 64GB of ram.

It's always the CPU being a bottleneck, anyways, lol.

Did you guys try again this year? Did the problems get solved?
