I like to archive saves/profile from completed games even if in this case, it's just the campaign progress.

Tested going offline, saw that completed missions/campaigns were unlocked, but there is no indication of any medals obtained to date.

Does anyone know if medals are available or tracked in offline mode? Do I need to replay and re-obtain for the offline profile?

Did not want to try replaying a mission to test this (yet) as I had terrible experience with another online dependent game in the past (entire progress wiped out...) when replaying missions in that game's 'offline mode'...
