But anyway, did it sell that bad? It has nearly 10,000 reviews, that tells me it must have had quite a few purchases considering most people usually don't leave reviews.
Stay away from hard Drugs !!!
Yeah, I am very bad at the game too. :---)
You wanna learn a new strat that your oponent did or find a way to counter it ? Well you can´t because the devs of this game think that a replay feature is not necessary and its just beyond unreal if you ask me.
A lot of people ask for this since day one and if i remenber correctly it was said that eventually would come out until some dev said that they can´t do it because of the '' game engine '' its limited or something along does lines i dont recal correctly.
The game is bad ? No its not but the lacking of features like does just drove away the more hardcore playerbase that alot of people think its bad for the game when in reality its actually good and bring the numbers to keep the game alive.
.Promises made to people who supported development were very, very, very late.
.The game itself started out as 60 when tbh it was worth 40.
.When they DID make it go to 40 the ppl who paid 60 got nothing. Not even a skin.
.Balance wasnt very good when it first came out.
.the story is one where you either love it or hate it.
.saxony was the only campaign that took place in the great war at all.
and there's a lot more to it too. Don't get me wrong, I agree it sucks that multiplayer is dead, and it seems unlikely we'll get a second one. And yea, the devs get too much hate.... but its also not like fans were just totally unreasonable.
On top of that slap some serious bugs and balances, lack of fixing said bugs, and as of lately - lack of communication, because copypasting the same promise of new seasons and basic texture skins isn't a communication.
gotta agree... plus the rusviet revolution, while fun was an insane letdown. Ths missions were good, but you spend the whole dlc trying to do one thing only for it to mess up, off screen, at the very very end.
regardless... I think peoples issues with the game were much more focused on the game itslef rather than what OP was suggesting
It doesn't matter how much passion went into something. Only results matter.
It's like the school system in Baltimore saying "but we put so much passion into these kids" and yet the end result is that you have dozens of schools where 0 students in those schools are proficient in reading or math according to the state standard.
So what matters: passion or results?
The reality is that this game was poorly executed. The developers took a beautifully crafted fantasy universe and turned it into something not just of poor quality, but essentially unplayable because of broken mechanics. And it's not just the details, it's the fundamental concept of what an RTS should be that was missed here.
Optimization and the American faction killed it for me
