Modern Times mission (possible bug)
How many waves do I have to face at the end? They keep just coming again and again, I counted almost fifty. Then I died and enemies kept pouring in even after I was defeated, and the mission doesn't end. Poor old Janek remains there standing but wounded among the ever increasing swarm of enemies, forever.

Janek is meant to die and then the story progresses. But congrats if you are able to consistenstly hold off the waves

This is has been a known issue since late august during beta testing; Don't think there is a solid fix yet.

I suggest keeping a save during a campaign mission when you think something important is about to happen, then if it bugs out you can reload until it works right.

As for this mission specifically, i suggest saving right before the area where the waves come in. Then fight to the bitter end. Reload if it gets stuck.

I reloaded before the waves part: no change.
I repeated the mission from the start: no change.
I verified the files and repeated the mission once more: no change.

I did that mission 5-6 time and never saw that. There is waves till Janek is out of action. Probably just a bug there so you have to do it again :steamhappy:

I already did it again, THREE TIMES. When Janek is out of action, he just remains there, troops keep pouring in, and the mission never ends.

Hello; I eventually was able to go past the mission, but I don't know how. I mean, I repeated it a few more times, and the last time it concluded correctly, but I don't know what changed or why. Sorry.

Had this problem one of the times I was trying to get the survive 5 minutes challenge. Developers should really add a timer at the end to overcome this bug atleast.

I just encountered this bug. So nearly a year since it was first reported and it's still not fixed.
I'm at a loss for words...
I started the mission 3 times over. I made a save before the last area and dies there like 6 or 7 times. Nothing helps.
