Why are the servers back up?

I though they closed the servers but taday as I was browsing my game I saw Misbits and it was downloadable again, I downloaded, Im in game, cant find a match but you can play explore mode that is kind of a free roam into the map
What is happening tho, why are the servers back up

The servers aren't up. Nothing stopped you from downloading the game and logging into it; just because the game servers went down doesn't mean steams servers stopped existing to download the client from.

You logged into the front end on your system and as you said: couldn't find a match, because there is none to find as there are no servers.
