I think devs should think about giving a free weekend or a free trial for X amount of time with the option to buy. Give the game away for free to keep for a few days. Do a heavily discounted sale for a week or so.... Or as many games have done, make the game free to play with buyable cosmetics (as much as i hate microtransactions, look at all the F2P successful games) I played this at a friends house.
