Unnacceptable - Fix the game or stop selling it

As long as you keep selling this game you are obligated to make sure it is in a working state. Clearly the game is broken, whether it's a problem on your end or Microsoft you need to be working with your partners on fixing it.

It's on their side. Steam is trying to update the exe file for some reason but that's apparently only since an update from like late 2023.
Replayce the exe file with the one you find here in the discussions and remember to activate the compatibility mode for windows 7, otherwise it runs like ♥♥♥♥ and is almost unplayable.
