A captivating journey of visuals and music that does not overstay its welcome!

I felt like I was on an acid trip. I have no idea what my purpose was in the game, what I collected or why I was flying a spaceship. So story wise I have no idea. Maybe someone can enlighten me (pls). Anyway, the occupational puzzle elements were nice. The level design, colors, controls and mechanics were also well implemented.

I originally bought this game soley because I saw that Douglas Holmquist, who also created the soundtrack for Smash Hit (2014), had released a new soundtrack for this game. Considering that Henrik Johansson, the founder of Longhand Electric, was also a designer at Mediocre (the studio behind Smash Hit), I can definitely see why the levels remind me so much of this game, especially because of the color choices. The OST of Overlook Trail is reeeally good as expected.

I only wish the game would last longer than 90 minutes (roughtly my playtime). There is more potential than four (minor spoiler) chapters to make it more worth the price. Especially since the theme of the game seems so random, it could be anything!

I still recommend it because it's a nice indie game. The devs put a lot of love and passion into it. The story could just be better explained if there is one. Besides that, it's a solid game!

This is exactly what a gamer brain needs to feel good about games again. It's actually art, and full of wonder. Wonderful. It's pretty much a progressive electronic music album with a... soft synth wave aesthetic and dreamy landscapes.

I wouldn't have minded if the game was half as long and pretty much only the movement and exploration parts though, this is not the type of game where I feel like I want to "perform well".
