Any way to increase framerate?

I tend to fluctate between 20-30 fps. Is there any way to boost it closer to 60?

DOSBOX.conf has "MAX" in cpu cycles.
Try with this config in [dosbox] block:

[dosbox] language= machine=vesa_nolfb captures=capture memsize=63

I can not be sure since DOSBox depends on the computer it uses.

Like Tunnel B1 it probably defaults to using the standard "overlay" output method instead of an hardware accelerated mode, open DOSBox 0.74 Options.bat in the install folder and replace the line "output=overlay" with "output=opengl" and it should run much better.
All the Piko Interactive DOSBox releases seem to put the config file in the same location, so you shouldn't have to edit that on a per-game basis at least.
