Have you ever quit Sekiro?
Where? Why?

I will defend you here. I simply want to know what boss or foible in the game caused you to stop playing. In fact, if you stopped playing and are reading this, you're the target of my question.

If you stopped and picked it back up, I also want to know what caused you to quit, as well as what brought you back in.

Don't be ashamed. The level of cognitive execution required to succeed in this game may be beyond you. It is made for healthy, young adults.

I struggled with Guardian Ape for 30 hours but I didn't quit. I finally made it. Don't underestimate souls-like players

I also struggle for i dont even know how many hours on guardian ape. And then I genuinly wasnt sure if I could beat Sword Saint Isshin after a weekend of attempts. I ended up just attempting him for about an hour a night over a week and finally one night I got him perfectly first try.
I got so much satisfaction at beating some of these bosses for the first time I never wanted to quit, I did get frustrated though haha and it feels good coming back to the game and destroying them "still got it baby"

Again, I feel it. This boss tests skills you aren't sure you even had, because it's quite a unique enemy.

Very few have experienced true horror in Sekiro. The most excruciating pain comes from attempting to no-hit extremely difficult mods. I'll share one experience with you.

In JiDao 2.1, Inner Isshin has a corrupted unblockable combo in his final phase. It can not be avoided, you just pray to the RNG gods that it doesn't pop up. A sword only run on this fight will take around 7 minutes. I played through the whole fight perfectly, his posture was about to break, and at 7:10 the nightmare came true. Unblockable combo comes out, kills me when there was about 10 seconds left on my run.

That made me quit the mod and play something else. Came back a week later and completed the no-hit run on my 7th attempt. Once you put so many hours in practicing the fight, you can't walk away from it anymore.

So you don't have a relevant response to my thread? Okay cool, let's just clear that up.

Wow. you're one toxic guy. And actually it is a relevant response. You ask if I ever quit. I answered that. What boss made me quit. I answered that. What brought me back. I answered it as well.

I specifically asked for input about Sekiro - you took the chance to talk about a mod for the game that nobody will be able to recognize or identify with. Once called out on this opportunistic FOMO, you label me toxic. Your comment is NOT relevant here. That's literally all I said. Get mad, idc.

It is about Sekiro. Mods are very popular, why would I not be allowed to mention it in the discussions? I did not see a 'do not mention mods'-condition in your opening post. Just because you dislike my reply, you start being rude. Actually come to think of it, even your opening post is quite rude: "The level of cognitive execution required to succeed in this game may be beyond you." I guess I joined the wrong thread for sharing a Sekiro experience.

There are like four fallacies at once here. I'll reiterate one more time: I asked for specifically input from Sekiro players. People who play the game as it was designed. I don't understand what you're talking about, and nobody else will unless they've played that mod. Modding a game changes the dynamics and context for discussion. You're talking far over the heads of everyone here, and should not assume popularity = majority.

As an opportunist, you're now justifying all of this by implicating fault on my behalf for not making a written exception or clause; what are you on dude? I don't want to reply to you, but you're insisting on making this thread yours, in spite of the facts.

You're playing a different game from us, friend. A modded version of the game that changes AI and whatnot is impossible to fairly compare to the base game. Get that through your head.

I could just ignore you from here on. Seems attention is all you wanted, and you'll probably get a kick out of hitting the report button as well. To be expected; 13 year olds use this platform

After 99 hours I completed my fourth full play through for the final achievements.

Then I quit. My work was done.
I bought it, played it. Got filtered after Genichiro and quit for a year. Came back a year later took two endings, onto my third. I don't count hours now, just endings.

Damn, you got some control/anger issues, eh? Bit of an over reaction to someone that appropriately responded to your post lol

Weird thread and equally weird responses. Mine included.
