Genishiro is my favorite fight, Saint is second because the old man is a cheater who uses pistols hehehe, gunpowder is a big no no in a sword fight. Demon of Hatred is great too, Owl father is another cheater, why are all old men cheaters in this game?
Considering the zero replay value it has on NG+(and NG+++), the tedium to beat the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over just to trigger an alternate ending, the mechanically obtuse gameplay, everything can 2-tap you unless "muh perfect parry".......... it's a 6/10 given you get the hang of it.
That is just the average fromsoft experience though
Sekiro's progression stops right at the end of NG0. I stopped paying attention even at the dialogues. All i wanted in NG+(+++) was a "bring me already to the next story boss, ffs" fast forward 64X button
I thought you meant bosses lmao. I would recommend trying the prosthetics, combat arts and dodging more to add some variety, unless you of course have already tried that. Personally, the combat is so satisfying to me that I honestly never get tired of it and it's the only fromsoft game out of the 3 I have fully played where im even close to ng+7. Also, the stop listening to dialogue is something I didn't do in sekiro, at least not until ng+4 but in something like elden ring, I stopped doing that after ng+ lol
Each to their own I guess which is perfectly fine :)
Half the bosses are honestly kinda boring to fight and the combat lacks a bit too much variety for my taste. Isshin, Genichiro and Owl were probably the only times when I really felt amazing playing this game.
Played every Souls game at release and loved them all....but each enemy was quick to kill and you moved onto the next...♥♥♥♥ fighting the same trash mobs 5 times in a row and adjusting a few things here and there to win...♥♥♥♥ kinda sucks. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mini bosses every 5 feet with very littel level design for eye candy as a reward is also terrible....
not a weeb so IDK if that has anything to do with it...
Wasn't talking about builds, more that you have to do the same stuff over again to get a different ending because you always have to replay the game to get new ending. But that was because I enterpreted the reply that way lol.
NG+2 and onward you can use spirit emblem invisible sugar run past 90% of the game beat only the mandatory stuff.
I think Sekiro has replay value cause you can tweak your combat style but yeah build vareity is not as big as in Souls,ER.
