it's really lame
Sekiro is easily the hardest and least forgiving.
Just give it back after two hours, if your not made for the challenge...
Even the normal enemies are going to kick your ass until you learn to deflect like a pro which is a pain in the ass in my opinion.
It is a good game but at some point the combat becomes a bit stale. But it's still hard AF sometimes.
Not harder than other souls games but, different. Once you get the deflecting down it will become easier and all thats left is learning how the bosses move.
I personally don't like the combat too much but it feels fluid and thats satisfying. It basically comes down to deflect deflect deathblow done.
I like to stealth kill everything because i find it more interesting to find ways to get behind or on-top of enemies because i find the head-on combat a bit tedious.
its all about learning boss
i hated elden ring as well, even though i loved all 3 darksouls games. and ever since, i desperately searched for the next souls-like that could fill the void of sekiro and wash away the disapointment of elden ring
now... when ghost of tsushima came out on pc, i played it on legendary difficulty and the only thought in my head was:
"this.... is my sekiro!"
this game is EXACTLY die until you learn the boss then win, but.... it's so much more than that! it is a japanese folk tale, and it's very emotional and beautiful in a subtle way! in this game, the story is not so much told to you through cutscenes, but you yourself fight your way through the story!
