Sekiro is the original Product other products wanna be like.
And even tho Lies of P is fine its still far away from Sekiro.
Lies of P is fantastic, love the setting, the music, weapon customisation. It's fantastic.
I just started Sekiro today and i must say i'm in love. I can't for the life of me parry successfully most times but in this game, being "late" to parry works for me. This combat just seems to work for me. Fast and flowing *chef's kiss*
For explaining better, Sekiro's enemies have better body language, that makes it so their movement are more fluid and you can play on both reaction and knowledge
Instead in Lies of P the enemies attack quickly and "innaturally" (in reality, considering the setting, we can actually consider it natural since we're basically fighting machines)
So in the end we can consider the two games two experiences alike.
If I have to talk about my personal taste I prefer playing on reaction rather than memory (i.e. I prefer Sekiro's gameplay). Also, Sekiro has a rhythym aspect that makes it feel like almost like a real sword duel where being aggressive is highly recommended
Want Bloodborne like visuals? = Get Lies of P
Want amazing games? = Get both
