A constant drop in fps.
RAM: 16gb, rtx 3060, ryzen 5 5600,
there are friezes even on medium settings, although the PC should do much better. This is not a game freeze for 1-2 seconds, as I've seen in many - it's just constant fps drops. There is no second monitor, I tried switching to window mode and back, the screen resolution is normal.

Guys, do u have any ideas what I can do? Cause I believe my pc is good for the game
NachosPonchos 25 Mar, 2024 @ 3:27pm
if ur playing with a ps4 controller or anything the 3rd party apps can funk with it, same with recording software like shadow play and highlights

you can also limit the FPS to 60 and turning on vsync in the nividia control panel cuz from soft hates anything over 60 sometimes

What resolution?

Typical frame hits are AA, SSAO, Shadows.

Are your using hdr or RTX-HDR?

I use keybord/mouse. Also nvidia geforce experience usually runs when I'm playing, but I already tried to close it - no results.

Can we go to DM or discord? Cause my English isn't very good so communication here will be uncomfortable

Game has default max 60 fps cap my GTX 1660 can hit that on MAX settings with no motion blur in "offline mode"on 1080p/Full HD and still have GPU % left to spare.

RTX 3060 could likely do 1440p max settings if everything is"right".

As always make sure drivers are up to date.

Then you can simply verify game cache in case of file corruption.(takes a few minutes to verify).

If issue is not solved by that.

Best to have the game on a SSD game takes up little space.

Make sure Anti Virus is not scanning the game files and Onedrive or similiar is not backing up Sekiros constant background auto saves to the cloud as both can cause serious perfomance issues or crashes.

Best to turn off all third party stuff including Geforce experience for this game.

You can turn off online mode in Sekiro you lose the remnants but nothing else.

For me online mode caused lag even on 720p low.(no idea why maybe may crap internet).

Force GPU:
empty spot on desktop+right click>monitor settings>graphical settings search for Sekiro.exe or similiar and make them"high perfomance".
So always RTX 3060 used.

In Nvidia control center global settings good idea to change"shader cache"size from default to 10GB and restart the PC.

Hope it helps.

It all didn't help(. I checked drivers, the game is on SSD and game files are OK.
I stopped antivirus and there was no result. OneDrive is disabled.
3060 is my only GPU, but I did as u say anyway and it also has no result.
Offline mode maybe helped a little bit, but there is some drops anyway
Gemor175 26 Mar, 2024 @ 12:00pm
I turned on fps counter in steam. Drops are down to 44fps. Not sure if it helps, but anyway
dziablo 26 Mar, 2024 @ 12:16pm
Just wanted to share I have very similar rig to yours, just i7 10gen instead of ryzen and 3060 ti. I never have fps drops on max settings on 2k.
So it is pretty weird that you have fps drops on full HD :/
I play windowed with Borderless Gaming app.
dziablo 26 Mar, 2024 @ 12:20pm
maybe you can turn on windowed, open Task Manager with always on top option enabled and run around in game and check if something is being maxed?

CPU 20-30%, GPU 40-55%
I just loaded, ran a little bit, did some attack etc. There was some drops, as always.

RTX HDR requires an HDR screen, so if you don't have one, ignore that part.

While in game on the pause screen choose "options" from the top right tab. Then scroll to "Graphics Options". You will see many options but choose "Advanced Settings." This menu will show you options like this picture which has all the options you need to change.
