Solution for controller issues.
This is how I fixed it.

Click on Steam>Settings>Controller>General controller settings.
If you have some weird controllers listed here, like Vjoy or something, you have to deactivate it from your device manager until you only have your real controllers on the General controller settings list. Now select the one you want to use (Xbox, PS4, or Switch controller)

Then Right Click on Sekiro from your library>Manage>Controller configuration, and check if it's the good one. Launch the game and it should be working.

I should add something I noticed, you have to unplug every other controller, Hotas, Steering Wheel, etc, etc...

Still not working, controller works perfectly fine in other steam games. Only issue is Sekiro. fix your ....

The only step I forgot to mention is you have to enable Steam Input by clicking on the Manage wheel>Properties>Controller.
It should look like that, with a blue dot in front of your plugged pad.

The controller is recognized by the Steam, working fine in other games, but it will not work with this game. The controller I'm using is a Xbox One controller

Unfortunately, nothing works in order for me to use my Xbox One Controller with this game. I have tried everything, From what was posted here to reinstalling the game, Changing the Steam input to deleting Controllers from the Device Manager. Nothing works. So far as I can see, there is no fix.

Is there seriously no fix? My windows updated and suddenly I can't play Sekiro with any controller. 360, Switch pro, PS4/5. Nothing works.

This method was working on the previous version of Steam, but the logic behind the workaround should be pretty similar.
I'll try to find free space on my harddrives to install the game and see how it is.
