[SPOILER] Serpent problem
I just killed the Snake with the plunging attack after swinging across the chasm with the kite. I got to the other side, but I wasn't careful while exploring and fell down where the broken hanging bridge is. Now the Serpent is gone and I don't know how to get back to the other side of that bridge. Need some help!

Unless there is an item that is enticing you to backtrack, try using the homeward bone/statue thing.

There is something on the other side and I believe I can continue on that path because of a story-related item that is required. I found a branch I could grapple to below where I fell down, but I can't climb up the broken bridge that is hanging down.

you can go to the other side .there is a road on the back of ashina castle .

I can get to the part of the bridge that is right after the Gun Fort shrine, but I want to get to the other side of the broken bridge. The side you get to after killing the Serpent.

If you missed it the first time then you missed it for that playthrough, the game throws you over there to give you access to those items.

errm ride the kite again ?isn't there an idols where you can teleport there after riding the kite .

errm ride the kite again ?isn't there an idols where you can teleport there after riding the kite .

I have the idol after the kite, but I want to get down to the place you get to after killing the Serpent.

oh that area ,as far as i remember ,the item in that area just a snap seed,not sure but nothing important tho.

IIRC nothing particularly noteworthy after the snake, aside from the item he drops which you acquire automatically after killing him.

I didn't jump down, I went near the collapsed bridge but couldn't walk on the planks that still were there, so I fell down.

The most noteworthy thing is a dragon rot cure item, that's about it.

If the game hasn't saved yet when this happens, just kill the process and start again. You should be standing on the same rock you landed after you killed the serpent god. That's what I did.

That bridge has been an issue for a lot of people it seems. The collision box there is really wonky.
