Crash Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Bonjour,
Le jeu crash au bout de 5 min de jeu à chaque fois. Impossible de jouer, il revient direct sur le bureau windows, même en baissant les graphique au max, cela change rien. Si quelqu'un à une idée?

Hi @Ubi-Vinci
Return from holidays :steamsad:
Well. Thanks a lot again for your attention.

I confirm (may be for other users who read).
The processor Intel i5 13600K has problems (for some production series), like the I 9.
This is not a criticism of the brand, just to help those who may have problems.
Undervolting (in my case minimum = 2) can solve the problems.

About the Bios version , yes, I had done in June.
I never take the beta version.
So, I've not exactly the last.
I monitor quite regularly.
When a beta version becomes a "current" version, I update it!

Thanks again for your time, it's nice.

Bonjour
Hey CactusGO and Aloy Sutagaru

Sorry to hear your games are crashing.
Please first try all the steps from our PC troubleshooting guide: https://ubi.li/8Nv0g

Disable ALL 3rd party, unnecessary applications running in the background, especially 3rd party overlays:
Clean boot - https://ubi.li/XQEUx

Make sure you upgrade not only your graphics card drivers but also check for ALL available updates to your motherboard.

Disconnect any additional USB devices, other than mouse and keyboard for testing purposes (any USB hubs, headsets etc).

Let us know if any of it helped.
Hi @Ubi-Vinci.
Thanks for your answer, that's nice.
So... for me, the problem is solved.
The big problem was my processor.
Intel I5 13600K
Probably a good processor but .... next time, I'll probably take AMD (like my graphics card).

I UNDERVOLTED IT..

Now, everything works properly. That's great!
Thanks again.
Hey Aloy Sutagaru,

Great to hear it, and sorry for not responding to you for such a long time.
Odyssey can be quite heavy on the CPU.

If undervolting works fine for you, that's great.
I would advise you to also check the BIOS version you have and consider updating it, as some issues with CPU work are often resolved in latest versions.

You can check the current version and date of your motherboard BIOS by typing "system information" in the Windows start menu.
It will bring up the system information app - just launch it and look for BIOS version/date line.

If you are having issues with stability in any games or software, I advise to update the BIOS, as certain issues can be resolved in latest versions.

DO NOT, however, attempt updating the BIOS if you haven't done it before and are not 100% sure how to do it.
Ask someone experienced for assistance.
Keep in mind that updating BIOS will reset all its settings to default.

Hey Aloy Sutagaru,

Thank you for letting us know.
It's a sad situation with some CPUs suffering from factory issues but I'm glad undervolting it a bit, helped you resolve the issues with crashes.

Please also keep an eye on the new version of Windows 11, the 24H2, as we see more reports that some games start crashing or suffer from texture issues on this new Windows version.

If it happens to you, make sure you check all updates for your hardware and please use one of the Windows 11 24H2 issues threads or create a new one.

I will lock this one as resolved.
