Alkibiades is a historical figure who actually did many of those things you helped him with, and much much more. He is one of the most fascinating figures of his time period and I was intrigued to see what they did with him.

I wouldn't call him fascinating. Unless you mean fascinating in the same way that a certain politician recently elected president in the US is fascinating. In that way, I would agree.

There was a Reddit thread where a guy explained in detail, to include the ramifications, of him and exactly why he has you doing all these things. Turned out that for every task he gives you there’s an actual purpose, be it politically motivated or socially inclined, behind it. After reading the thread it turned a simple npc into something more than a just partying alcoholic douche bag that he wants everyone to see.

A few years after the events in Odyssey Alkibiades actually ends up working for the Spartans as a general and tactician.

I didn't like him at first but he's actually pretty funny and extremely anti-woke, basically he is a horn dog. Has Kassandra send some guy a model of his penis but claims it is from someone else, in another he has Kassandra steal some lady's dildo so her husband is forced to spend more time with her and ignore his business so Alki can grab it.

People claim the game is woke but you can play Kassandra as a complete ho and she can have sex with Alki at least 4 times during the game. At the symposium, at the Akrokorinth temple, during the Resistance quests and again after you steal the dildo. Plus at least half a dozen other NPCs ..... That is the opposite of woke by a long shot.

I mean everyone has reasons for doing things, very few people do things for no reason at all. It doesn't mean you have to like the reasons they do it however.

Socially progressive identity politics. Its not a term I use but acting like you don't understand what people mean when they use it is strange, especially since the term has been used in earnest by progressives before it was derided by their opponents.
