Huge lag spike and FPS drop
need help, currently im having some performance issue here. basically as the title says, my game keep having huge FPS drop. 60-70 fps for 20-30 seconds, then drop to below 5 fps for 5-10 seconds and increase to 60-70 fps again and drop again and so on, make it unplayable for me. i didnt have this issue in ac origin. anyone have any idea regarding this issue?

i have try these way, yet the issue wont go away:
- modify some settings in nvidia control panel based on what i found on another discussion
- disable full screen optimization in .exe file
- change priority for ac odyssey in task manager
- change something about performance in battery plan settings
- change the graphic in game settings
- turn on/off game mode
etc

for anyone wondering, here is some of my specification:
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H 2.30 GHz
Nvidia RTX 3050 TI 4 GB
16 GB ram
1 TB storage

update: for some reason, finally i able to fix the problem. i've done few things, have no idea which one actually help me fix the issue. (1) uninstall and reinstall the game, (2) set maximum performance state from battery plan to 100%, (3) use external monitor and fan. go try these things and if you have the same problem as me, your issue might get fixed

This game doesn't like laptops very much, the problem isn't your GPU, the problem is your CPU with it's low clock speeds and TDP. Look for any unnecessary background applications running eating up CPU cycles and causing you to be CPU bound. If even one of your CPU cores hits 100% then you are going to be CPU bound and your FPS will drop because the CPU can no longer feed frames to the GPU fast enough. It's only a 45W chip so it's not going to run like it's desktop equivalent which is a 125W chip. TDP matters in overall power and performance especially with power hungry Intel CPUs

It could also be a scheduling problem and it's trying to run important game tasks on an efficiency core instead of a performance core. To test that you could temporarily turn off the efficiency cores so the game is only using the performance cores and see if that helps
