That is controlled in the Connect App. Start up Connect and go to Settings -> Interface and uncheck the box labeled "Display FPS counter in-game"

The latest Connect update must have turned it on .... It's called Beta for a reason even though they pretty much forced it on us despite it still having beta status

It is strange they would Force it on us, seeing as it blocks some of the screen and introduce a random bug that stops completion of a quest lol

try to press f1, maybe that will fix it. Works for me

Yeah,, I managed to F1 a few times and save then Reload,, It cleared it Finally.
