Yes, the ones you played didn't have any meaningful modern day story but AC1-3 and Origins-Valhalla do

ok thanks, i guess i will buy the origins first, to see if i like it or not

Having played both I'd say it comes down to which world you like better. Personally I'd go with Odyssey.

odyssey is god

If you are planning on playing all 3 of the games, I recommend playing origins first,
then play Valhalla before you play odyssey cause if you don't you will be disappointed in Valhalla cause of the downgrade of the overall game compared to odyssey, Valhalla is a good game but compared to odyssey it is disappointing

I would recommend Origins. The story of Odyssey was garbage in comparison. It was also bloated with too much time filler stuff.

same, i have both games and i enjoyed both games though from a personal experience i liked odyssey more

(odyssey doesnt have one hit stealth kills though unless you do a quest on the starter island that has endgame spoilers, though you can always just skip the cutscenes and rewatch em in new game+)

I am going to be an outsider here but I enjoyed Valhalla more then both
odyssey and Origins.

I just platinumed Odyssey and it's much better, even graphcis are better, not to mention animations and character control and little details like looting
But Valhalla is cool too, just play it after Odyssey like it's meant to be

It depends on if you like RPGs or not. Odyssey is the most RPG of the lot because of it's vastly superior weapons, armors and engraving systems that give the game a lot more depth and freedom of play styles. Armors in Origins and Valhalla are mostly cosmetic and it really doesn't matter which one you use for gameplay whereas in Odyssey your armors and weapons make a big difference in game play

Well, i recomend you to play Origins. It has a great story and a great main character. And most importantly, it feels like a good game about the creed of the assassin's. Also you have the DLC "the hidden ones", but that's another story. Now, about Odyssey and Valhalla, they are good games too, but you are not going to find the essence of the Creed or something like that. In Origins the essence is low, but there's some. But in these two games you are not going to find anything. But, if you like big rpg's like The Witcher, for example, you are going to love them.

Btw, the another dlc of Origins is good too. It has more fantasy, but you should try it if you like the game.

Both Are Equally broken on PC I'm Playing Odyssey now and i enjoyed Valhalla more
