First try, two questions

Hi,

First time trying the game even though it was in my wishlist for some time.

I have two questions, if I understand correctly there is no way I can rotate my characters without him moving and changing place on the grid?

I guess the zoom out view is better suited for the visibility of the game, but ain't there any way I could adjust it a little ? I would love the game to be a little bit more zoomed in.

If your character stands next to solid wall, trying to move in direction of the wall will rotate your character without actually spending a turn. Also, manual targetting will make your character rotate to face a tile you're currently targetting. Then it can be cancelled, still without spendning a turn.

Zoom is in display settings i think it says something like distance from camera eye and is standard set to 20.

1) facing of the character has absolutely no effect on game play, you can use manual targeting if you want it to visually change facing
2) you can zoom in in the options, but be aware that you will possibly be attacked by enemies from off-screen if you do - the default setting makes sure you see to the edge of your vision range
