Linux : cannot play with keyboard, only gamepad
Hello,

On Linux, i launch the game, it runs (yeaaaah)

- without gamepad or joystick or anything = impossible to move with mouse or keyboard, nothing happens, even in main menu. Impossible to quit the game, no Alt+F4 or anything, as the keyboard is like dead.

- with gamepad Xbox One USB : can play, no issue, but keyboard still not responsive at all

- starting without gamepad, then plug the gamepad, makes the gamepad active. Then i can play, no issue, but still keyboard dead.

Never had similar issue with any games before.

Could be something your end, testing on Manjaro Linux and keyboard input works as expected.

I have a TypeMatrix french BÉPO keyboard, and i tested with a very standard french AZERTY, same result. I tried restarting Steam, deleting all local hidden files, etc. Same.

I guess the game doesn't see non qwerty maybe, or because my system is in french or something related ?

Alright, i noticed when i launch the game, my system ask permission to log into my internet. I ignored it before, because i'm already on internet...

So, i accepted the log, and now it works with keyboard.

It's a weird behavior, at least, a behavior i don't understand at all.

It's possible that stole focus from the game?

I did notice that SHIFT+TAB for the overlay doesn't work, it then captures input and you have to SHIFT+TAB again to get input back.

It's possible yes, but i cannot do anything, the keyboard is like dead, so it's weird. If the focus was on the connect window, it should still react to alt-tab etc.

Just bought it, it works perfectly on NixOS via steam-run (even if i was not able to launch it via the steam client but command line worked fine). The game is fun. It feels indeed a bit like the creeper worlds (that i love so much!) but the gameplay is actually very different. Assembling pieces is fun and enemies destroying blocks create patterns in unexpected ways (the gameplay is maybe much more subtle than at first sight).
