Being able to play this again made 10 year old me happy. Its perfect just the way it is.

**IN ADVANCE** THIS IS A BARELY PASSING "YES" RECOMMENDATION.

- The game won't properly launch on Windows 11. You need to download a Win10 .dll file provided in the community hub by a random player in order to get it to work.
- After that, it only works for about 20-40 minutes before crashing.
- You can trigger crashes by cycling pod racers too quickly.
- Sprites and images will bug and leave single colors where they should be (i.e. instead of 1st place flags it'll just be a random pale-yellow rectangle, or parts of characters will be replaced with large white polygons) which causes their own crashes.
- Reportedly some controllers straight up don't work, though i can't attest to that myself as i play on keyboard.

BUT ALL THAT BEING SAID, once you map your keybindings, the graphics are remarkably crisp and it feels incredibly responsive, the game play BEYOND holds up over time, and it's an absolute blast. You just have to be willing to accept that getting to that good time is going to have bumps and roadblocks.
