The Japanese carriers launched fighters to intercept my dive bombers and torpedo planes, and then followed them all the way back to my carriers. Never once did my carriers launch any fighters to go after the enemy fighters. I did give permission to both carriers to "launch combat aircraft." What are we as players supposed to do. I have to say that late game sure was fun, and was a far better experience than early game while playing on the US side. I know this game is not a priority at this juncture. But it would be awesome to add a couple of new ships for the commonwealth side. Specifically the Renown class as it was active in the pacific and the balance is a little off vs. the others. Goose's more ships mod had some good models and ships, maybe that guy will let it be put in main game....
