Can we please get the old galaxy model back?

I liked the old version better where it felt like you're actually exploring space. Leave your solar system and explore other systems. Also, please add more colonizable planets.

I recall this was removed in EA due to folks not liking it so I don't know there's much hope of it returning.

What they didn't like about it? Exploration takes too long? What, they wanted everything close together so they can rush the game?

Yeah, IIRC, it was first victim of people's moaning and I miss it dearly. The systems basically rubbing elbows against each other just seems goofy, even if it is an enormous, seamless map that takes a lot to fully explore.
