[Spoiler] Fragment Discussion
This was mentioned in another thread about what on earth is happening on Fragment, and was wondering how you folks interpret it.

I see fragment as somewhere in between.
Morgana did mention (pitifully or dismally) that after she released Jacopo's soul, he gave himself 'new shackles' though she didn't further elaborate what that means. So I do imagine it to be a kind of statsis between the mansion and 'reincarnation' where Jacopo 'created' that peaceful realm because he *wished* hard enough, very similar to how Morgana did with the mansion with her hatred.

I also think there's an element of fourth wall involved, especially after backstage, almost as if the author (and honestly most of us) *will* them together to just. please. for. god's sake. talk. properly. to each other.

But I thought most importantly the reveal is that despite all the ♥♥♥♥, vitriol or denial on Morgana's part, she was also drawn to the realm with Jacopo and did not move on immediately, akin to how Didier and Georges passed away with regret and was drawn to the mansion due to Michel. Yes, the ship has sailed, she was probably sick and tired of the 'abusive relationship', but her heart despite shattering to pieces still wanted to be with Jacopo. She also recognized the problem with Jacopo's ambitions, and I also do think she is within reasonable capability to be able to stop him, despite how stubborn they both are.

So the hopeful me also wished the tragic couple have spent some time in that 'foolish fantasy', rest their souls temporarily before moving forward to be reincarnated with the rest. Time and space has no meaning in that light after all.

And is it just me but when Jacopo said "I love you" and Morgana was being her usual cynic/tsundere self and said, "And I hate you.", I hear it as "I love you too?" The opposite of love isn't hatred, it's indifference; something that Morgana wanted to do, wanted to move on, but she simply couldn't. Because somewhere in her heart, in her roundabout way, she still love Jacopo.

When Jacopo pleaded, "I don't want you to forget again

I don't want you to forget what I look like, the sound of my voice, or how I feel about you. I don't want you to forget what we talked about, what kind of man I was, or all the time we shared together.

Please, don't forget me. "

And when Morgana later responded with his name, it felt like an answer that "Yes, I won't forget you."

I'm late but this is a great interpretation and I agree heavily with what you said about Morgana still loving Jacopo.
