This VN is so good, im horrified to play through Alternative. I can get very emotional over a good story...

Now let me give a little back story because I know most people did not like Part 1 (extra)

As someone who grew up as a mini degen, it was a pretty nostalgic read. See, I was that teen who loved the harem rom-coms and basically watched as many as possible. While I don't do that now, (I don't watch much anime or read manga now) It was really enjoyable to read Part 1 as it brought back some memories of being younger and all the fun I had watching anime/ reading manga. However, I do see why so many people complain about it being so slow. Yea, it could've done with maybe just one less chapter? But still it did an amazing job setting up Unlimited.

That said, Part 2 (unlimited) was absolutely phenomenal. As someone new to the VN scene, (reading Tsukihime OG, Remake,, WoTHN, and a little bit of Song of Saya) I wasn't sure what to expect. I was blown away and to be honest, my eyes are watering a bit while writing this review (I just finished unlimited (also Meiya best girl, fight me)). The story was a solid 10. As I realized the ending was happening, I just started reading slower and slower, not wanting to finish as I didnt want to be ripped from the story. But at the same time, I was excited as the ending played. Realizing just what to expect from Alternative, and Im not ready. That ending really hit hard for me.

All in all, if you're a fan of mechs, vn's, or romance or wanting to get into all of them, then I highly recommend Muv-Luv. This VN truly got me sucked into this genre.
