Prize already owned = no prize :\
Wish the case was worked on somehow - like either giftable extra copy or something else. Like DLC to megadrive collection :)

Nah I understand why they don't give people the games/dlc if they already own it, and it is because there would be a great surplus of copies which can be cheaply sold/traded off to people who have not participated in the event, and the whole purpose of this event is for SEGA to make their titles shine and revelant.

I would've liked to at least gift thes games to some friends that don't have em (especially Viking, which I despise, so I can give it to someone I hate)

Auto-add to library is more consistent with Valve's current rules for Steam gifts. They eliminated purchasing to inventory and are increasingly stingy with giving developers keys for promotions, so it makes sense why Sega chose this route.

Even if it does suck for those of us with pretty much everything on offer.

Well why didnt you make them join the event? They couldve easily signed up, hell they still have time for Alpha Protocol and 2 other games.

I understand that "unconditionally gifting" is easier to make than "check if the user has a product" but getting something that people who don't own the product will not get - will look like a loyalty reward.
