My friends and I had a turn based game in process. Now receiving error messages because we are mid-game in version 2.6. Is it possible to continue and finish the game in 2.6? if so, how?

It's amazing how years after release that the known issues that they admit is as long as what they've fixed.

This update seems to have reset my match count and karma, can this be recovered or am I SOL?

You are SOL. Most of the patches and updates ruin one thing or another, including sometimes Karma and saved games. They typically also break cards that never had problems previously.

They're just really bad at writing code and play-testing their code. (I don't know whether they even really playtest the code much at all.)

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but occasionally the Arcadian Communities calls itself Astrodrill during corporation selection. I guess the next expansion is going to another wave of fan-made content. Which makes sense since both Colonies and Turmoil are going to require some massive re-engineering of the game's interface.
