you can pretty much ignore the right panel until the end but figure out how to do it first so you don't need to undo so much when the right part is mostly done. it's not hard but it needs one 'free move'.
as for the left one, the first move has to be switching the top right tiles (light blue and gray), otherwise the light blue gets stuck. and notice how there are 9 of every color (after the first move when 3 dark blue disappears), so you have to remove them 3 by 3. I think the second move was in the lower left corner, dark blue or light blue but I can't recall, I just kept trying until it somehow worked out.
