Downside, my FPS have been severely limited with some strong screen tearing when the camera pans from one room to another. Also the Final Score pop up at the end of the match had its formatting broken, with some development script element appearing where the difficulty should be shown and the ticking sound (for the score figure going up) looping without end. I've already opened a support ticket with Marmalade directly asking for them to please investigate.
A little sad there is nothing new in the season pass (even if just costumes for instance).
:(
I did wonder why such a basic game was lagging so much on a super rig
I ran perfectly fine before this update. 144 FPS constantly. Now that they gimped it, it's literally unplayable. I can't find any sort of config file for clue. So unless someone else can help out it looks like we're going to have to wait for them to fix this crap.
Shame, on you, for releasing such a downgrade of a perfectly running game. What was the point of this, exactly? To "Add" to the game "next gen graphics"? Stop sacrificing good games to the "better graphics" altar, and don't fix what's not broken!
