Docking
I am at the very beginning of the game and cannot for the life of me figure out how to dock. I am in the repair yard, pressed "G" and something I presume is a docking beam activated but I cannot dock. Help.

there will be a highlighted docking area highlighted on the station, line that up with the highlighted docking port on your ship.

with your dockingport open, stations (not repair bays) will now highlight a blue ish area that you will need to line your docking port up with. To repair your ship, fly to the repair yard and from the information text on the right side of the screen click the repair yard then click hail right at the top.
