Odd because it does a lot of things really well, but also makes some really bad choices at times. Like it feels good to pick locks and pry boards, but the random button mash cut scenes are so lame. The level design is at times spectacular, and the game play fairly nicely varied for survival horror, but then they do the same chase sequence in like four different flavors. Not really scary, but boy does it try to be. Definitely strikes a good balance of jump scares, dread, and gruesome moments. Pretty good pacing in offering a handful of different types of play. Voice acting was bad and distracting. Story was garbage. Graphics were surprisingly good. Puzzles were pretty decent, nothing particularly groundbreaking, but they had a little more meat to them then you typically get in a game like this. That being said it is a pretty damn good game if you are into the first person survival horror thing. 7/10

CW for some random unnecessary racism and edginess. Like not even opposed to that stuff being in video games, but it feels sloppy to not approach it with a little more nuance, instead of just randomly throwing a racial slur or child with a pickaxe through their head at you.

Very great game, i love the story and the very SpOoOooKiiiness of the game! im a big horror guy so whenever i get jumpscared im mostly expressionless LMAO! 10/10 Recommend
