VC4 Patch 3 is live - 15 October 2018

Hi Valkyria fans,

Patch 3 has rolled out with some small improvements:

• Option to set cutscenes to letter boxed for players using ultra wide resolutions
• Fix for hard lock seen in later chapters
• Tweaks for fixes to the controller drift issues
• UI and localisation tidy up

Sad to report that the forced camera movement (I think this falls under controller drift issue?) still happens for me.

Sure hope this patch isn't broken like the last one where it caused Steam and my PC to completely lock up.

Another "valkyria4_x64.exe:4792" forced Denuvo activation after a minipatch... Again without to inform the customers or a do note in the changelog.

How much mb Denuvo takes from your 100mb "update"? Would be interesting.

And why no big patch with "one" forced activation instead of cut partly useless stuff in to legitimize a DRM system? And how much of the purchase price is deductible from denuvo?

Really, serious...It is an affront and mocking which is shown to customers.

This patch is taking way too long to download...Got stuck at 99%, I restarted Steam and its still stuck. I just want to play the game.....

I'm glad they have thought so much about ultra wide screens for this game. I have seen so few games implementing it with different options.

Can you fix grenadier grenade stoping mid flight? i think it's linked with my older pc get some frame drop and grenade stop dead in is track middair, stay there for 1 second and explode harmlessly. Kinda fixed it by lowering framerate and resolution but it's still happen on bigger map and map with lot's of effect like fog and fire. :/

After updating to this version I can't load my 1.02 save from the in the middle of the battle in chapter 16.
I was a few hours into that so that *really* stings.
