Well you know... the time had changed, I mean when it was released. People just expected some different type of games. And the game still has some flaws. So... for some people it's like going to the baker's and see no bread, but some cloth. And the cloth are not so trendy.

I love this game. Its amazing and terrible at the same time , like a good b movie.

My problem with it turned out to be a GPU going bad, it's actually a fun game and I know a dev that worked on it as their first title, still going to pop it back in when my good cards are back from repairs, my luck had two have totally different issues, hah, one was fan related, the other was a bad card, funny..

I liked it as well. It is almost good as recent DOOM imo. Great challenge levels, epic campaign, excellent gun shooting. but really wanted it to be more polished. Its physics is a total mess and movements get clunky by all the stuff on the ground. It deserves more attention.

Go to <path-to-game>\Bin and edit config.ini.
Find Cfg.RenderDevice = and set the value to Cfg.RenderDevice = 1.

No, just no. The gun sounds are too quiet. The zoom in effect is way to strong on some of the weapons like the trench gun. I have seen worse, but it's not amazing. It is fun and super cheesy which can be nice in it's own B-movie style way. However I wouldn't call it amazing. It's too clunky for that.

I found it a bit rough control-wise at first, also confusing weapon menu. But after a couple hours and more interesting stuff starts to happen, I like it more and more. A flawed gem, for me.

It's such a strange little title, too, a real diamond in the rough, so to speak. So, no, you aren't alone, I had a bad card that was causing issues but after I got it repaired, back to the wild crazy awesome game this one is.

It is pretty decent.

I like it! And if the devs would fix the bug,glitches and flaws it would be much better I guess?

Maybe a little outdated now but still a great game for what it's worth.

It's better than Painkiller Redemption but nowhere near as good as Painkiller Black.
