IMO the devs are shortselling themselves on their fantasy young girl fighting xenomorph NES game. If they were charging 20 dollars I'd buy it out of respect for their hard work.

I made it through the game and got to the final evolution which is your form. During the slow-mo part despite mashing left click like crazy my gun wouldn't fire. I died but the game still gave me a very patronizing "win". Is there something specific you're supposed to do to fire your gun here?...

I think some rebalancing should be done for NG+ because as it is today, it's completely unfair and unfun to play. Challenge and difficulty in games is a good thing, but they have to come from fair situations and not some pure randomness crap like the game throws at you. Enemies jumping at you offscreen, random HP and jerky camera movements are the main issues here.
